Rochester Drug Cooperative settles charges over shipments of painkillers, in the first case of a major wholesaler facing criminal charges related to the opioid crisis
Federal prosecutors have charged drug distributor Rochester Drug Cooperative and two of its former executives with illegally shipping prescription painkillers and defrauding the federal government, the first time a major wholesaler has faced criminal charges over activity related to the opioid crisis.
