“As a dog lover, I want to tell you this is disgusting and evil, what you signed off on in these experiments that happen to beagles, paid for by the American taxpayer,” Greene said. “The type of science that you are representing, Mr. Fauci, is abhorrent, and it needs to stop.”“I’m very troubled by the cruel, horrific animal research that has been done on U.S. land and in foreign laboratories, and taxpayers are footing the bill for billions of dollars,” Malliotakis said.
