An unruly passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight was captured on video yelling and being subdued by fellow passengers. FOX 26 obtained the video from Eric, the owner of Call Eric A/C and Heating, who was a passenger on the flight into Houston Tuesday night. The video shows Eric saying the man was 'banging on the windows' in the middle of the flight. Frontier Flight 4856 was traveling from Denver to Houston and landed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at 11:10 p.m.
, according to Flight Aware. Another video sent by Eric shows a group of male passengers wrestling the man down and tying him up until the end of the flight. The Houston Police Department was called to 3701 N Terminal Road for a welfare check at Bush Airport. Upon the plane's landing at Terminal D, officials learned about a combative passenger incident that occurred 20 minutes into the flight. According to police, the man tried to speak with a woman in the row in front of him, but she didn't respond. The man then began to punch the seat in front of him and the plane window, police say. At some point, several male passengers restrained him and got him back in his seat. He was reportedly calm for the rest of the flight and questioned by HPD.Frontier Airlines reportedly declined to press charges. 'It was absolutely chaotic. The most terrifying thing I've ever been through. We turned around, and we saw this guy just punching out the window, and immediately we screamed for help,' explains passenger Jessica Brown. 'I was absolutely terrified. My anxiety was really bad. Me and my mom were shaking the whole time, and we were praying the whole time. I didn't know what was going to happen. It was really scary,' says 13-year-old Chloe Starcevic. Passengers say the man was screaming in Spanish, telling people not to touch him. 'I just thought we are not having another 9-11. Like, this is not going to happen, and I was just so thankful that my husband and the other men jumped in immediately, so he didn't break the second panel of the window. We were using shoestrings and belts, headphones, just to get him restrained,' Brown said. 'I was absolutely terrified. I didn't really know what to think. I didn't know what was going to happen to all of us. I was really concerned for my dad, because he's very brave for wanting to do that,' Starcevic said. Passengers say the man appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis. Police did not say if the man was taken to emergency detention or to Ben Taub Hospital. Since Frontier declined charges, there is no indication anything will happen to the man
