PETALING JAYA: All leaders should know that it is wrong to involve political parties in any government matters on distribution of funds, says Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Salleh.
Therefore, he said it was unacceptable for Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming to dismiss recent criticisms over DAP’s logo appearing on mock cheques for school donations as not being an issue.
"As a politician, regardless of party, this is a basic thing he should know," Dr Akmal added on Thursday ."No issue. What’s most important is that the schools receive the donation," he told reporters.
