A non-profit organization representing Americans of Ukrainian descent has formally objected to SpaceX's application to launch nearly 22,500 satellites into low-earth orbit. The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) has filed a petition with the FCC asking for a delay in authorization until a further review is conducted. The primary concern is whether SpaceX's Starlink technology could be aiding a foreign adversary. UCCA president, Michael Sawkiw, Jr.
, stated that any assistance to a foreign adversary would not be in the national security interest of the United States. Additionally, there are concerns about Elon Musk's potential conflicts of interest and the impact of recent SpaceX launches
