Updates from Sky News correspondents Deborah Haynes in Kyiv and Alex Rossi and Mark Stone in Dnipro. Live reporting by Emily MeeHere's some of the most extraordinary images we've seen coming out of Ukraine overnight and this morning. We have conflicting reports on Russian gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria - with energy giant Gazprom now saying it has halted supplies this morning after the countries failed to pay for gas in roubles.

Bulgaria says it has paid for Russian gas deliveries for April and halting gas supplies would be a breach of its current contract with Gazprom.Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak has welcomed promises by the United States and its allies to send more heavy weaponry to Ukraine following talks at a German air base.

Mr Raab said in response to the comments that while the UK offered"maximum solidarity to Ukraine", it was clear"the conflict is in the balance". The lack of precision means Russia is less able to"effectively discriminate when conducting strikes, increasing the risk of civilian casualties", the Ministry of Defence said.In more positive news, British intelligence suggests Ukraine still has control over the majority of its airspace.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on"unfriendly" countries to pay for gas imports in roubles, a demand only a few buyers have implemented. Russian gas supplies to Bulgaria were flowing for the time being, Vladimir Malinov, executive director of Bulgarian gas network operator Bulgartransgaz, told Reuters.and team were reporting from Ukraine's Oleksan-Drivka when the village came under attack from Russian shelling. You can watch what happened below...

He added:"There's always a possibility a number of things can happen, but I think it is unhelpful and dangerous to rattle sabres and speculate about the use of nuclear weapons." Offering a similar perspective, Liz Truss, the UK foreign secretary, is set to say that allies will never feel safe again if Russian President Vladimir Putin achieves his goal of conquering Ukraine.

It is already a fact that western weapons fired by Ukrainian troops are killing Russian soldiers in Ukraine. The bloodshed, carnage and uncertainty caused by Russia's war in Ukraine is, for now, contained within Ukrainian borders. Yet there are signs emerging of unrest in next door Moldova, amid fears that could become a new front for Russia.
