The best fish and chip shops in the UK have been revealed, including three chippies located in Scotland.

Two popular Scottish chippies are nominated for the prestigious Fish and Chip Takeaway of the Year award. These are Low's Traditional Fish & Chips, which is based in the town of Westhill in Aberdeenshire, and The Fish Works in Largs in North Ayrshire. The awards have been held for more than 30 years. This year will mark the first time that they are hosted by the National Federation of Fish Frier .
