A Washington, D.C., Uber driver who fled Iraq found himself dodging bullets on the streets of the nation's capital over the weekend.
The incident occurred around midnight Saturday morning near the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, an area known for a myriad of office buildings and several popular nightclubs, according to a report.Omar al Furaiji was driving two passengers when bullets began to rain down around the car and blasted through his windshield.
It shows al Furaiji and his passengers ducking for cover, and at least one individual can be seen firing a handgun behind his vehicle.
