"I walked to the end of the drive and I could just see the family outside in their pyjamas, just screaming and completely distressed.
"All the neighbours started coming out then and we ran up and they said there had been an explosion." An HSE spokesperson said: "HSE has been made aware of a suspected gas explosion in a family home in Merthyr Tydfil."Two people remain in hospital with burn injuries. These are not believed to be life threatening.Local policing inspector Jon Duckham from South Wales Police said: "A number of properties on Glanmor Gardens were evacuated due to damage caused.
"Two people, a 19-year-old man and a 18-year-old woman, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
