Deputies found weapons in the home, including in the bedroom where the two men were found.
Two men were found dead inside a home early Tuesday in southern Bexar County. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, relatives of the men “forced” their way into the home in the 15900 block of Martinez Street and found both men with gunshot wounds. One man was in his 40s and the other in his 70s, officials said. They have not been identified.

Drugs, scales and packaging materials also were found during the search of the home. Relatives last heard from the men on March 23. Three days later, deputies visited the home for a welfare check but could not get in because the gate was locked. Before leaving the residence, deputies attempted to get into contact with those inside the home by calling out.
