Emergency responders were called about 3 p.m. to Saint Marys Road in Hanover Township in Luzerne County near a farm where children were riding a hayride, according to the An eyewitness told the television station: “I was walking and I saw this plane, it was flying just a regular flight, and then it was going straight and about four or five birds, don’t know what kind of birds they were, but they came like where they were going to go in front of the plane and the plane took a huge dip and went and then I heard a bang,” said Eileen Melone, who lives in Liberty Hills.
