Wondering why you can't see all of President Trump's tweets?
USA TODAYIn a bid to"protect the health of the public conversation," Twitter is placing disclaimers on tweets from President Donald Trump and other world leaders who violate community guidelines.
In the blog post, Twitter owned up to turning a blind eye to its own policies when famous people were involved. This label will affect policy violating tweets from accounts that belong to political figures, verified users and profiles with more than 100,000 followers.Virtual make up?Whenever Twitter determines that a guideline-violating tweet is in the public’s interest, you'll have to opt-in if you want to read the contents. The platform will place offenders behind “a screen you have to click or tap through before you see the Tweet,” the company said.
