In honor of day one at the U.S. Open and tennis star Serena Williams’ impending retirement, Twitter has released a new emoji to celebrate her success.
It makes sense that Williams’ “hashmoji” will embody none other than a goat to signify her place as the greatest of all time.
"Serena Williams, in my opinion, is the all-time greatest athlete in the history of any sport, male or female," says Julia Elbaba, a former tennis pro who now writes for NBC Sports. For the tennis legend’s “hashmoji,” Twitter launched a special goat with a tennis skirt and racquet.
