Turkish Firtina howitzers fired at PKK terrorist positions as Turkish Armed Forces launched a counter-terrorism operation in Hakurk, northern Iraq, on May 28, 2019. The campaign, dubbed Operation Claw, is targeting one of the PKK’s bases in Iraq’s mountainous Hakurk region, according to the Turkish foreign ministry.
