Neal McDonough has officially been tapped to join the Tulsa King Season 2 cast for Paramount+'s hit crime drama series.
Before signing onto Tulsa King, McDonough first starred in Sheridan’s popular Western drama Yellowstone, where he played the role of Malcolm Beck. In the next season of the Paramount+ crime drama, McDonough will portray the series regular role of Cal Thresher, who’s described as a powerful and extremely territorial businessman in Tulsa., Andrea Savage, Max Casella, Martin Starr, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
“The series follows New York mafia capo Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla,” reads the synopsis. “Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
