The comment came in a wide-ranging conversation which touched on several themes. Trump invoked the Christian savior to imply California may rig its elections. Trump went on to accuse the state of sending multiple mail-in ballots to voters, skewing the state’s election results. The former president in that interview also attributed having survived the assassination attempt against him at a Pennsylvania rally to “some higher power.”
