Trump marked major improvements despite the majority of Wisconsin Black voters still backing Vice President Kamala Harris, the poll showed. Trump made multiple visits to the Badger State throughout his campaign, including a trip to Green Bay where he was joined by former Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Vice President Kamala Harris also made repeated appearances in Wisconsin, including a star-studded rally in Madison.
The Harris campaign made an aggressive appeal to Black voters in the wake of lackluster polling. The campaign announced a proposal for 1 million forgivable loans for Black-owned businesses, valued at up to $20,000 each.
