Trump’s campaign has spent the immediate hours after the addition of Walz to the Democratic ticket trying to paint him as a radical liberal politician and accusing Harris of caving to the “pro-Hamas” wing of the Democratic Party. “I genuinely feel bad that for days, maybe even weeks, the guy actually had to run away from his Jewish heritage because of what the Democrats are saying about him. I think that's scandalous and disgraceful,” Vance said.
“In the House, Governor Walz supported a number of resolutions that helped to strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance, has fully and consistently backed U.S. military aid to Israel, and called Israel ‘our truest and closest ally in the region,” the group said. “As governor, he has been a steadfast supporter of the pro-Israel community in Minnesota.”
