President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are calling for unity after an assassination attempt at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Trump said he was hit in the upper part of his right ear before being ushered off the stage. He was reportedly checked out at a local hospital before flying back to New Jersey overnight, where he has a home. The victim who died was identified Sunday as Corey Comperatore, a husband and father of two children.

George Bivens of the Pennsylvania State Police."Law enforcement, I believe, acted heroically — quickly identifying and neutralizing the threat, as well as responding to assist the various victims.""Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed," Trump said on Truth Social.
