) - The game was a nail-biter until the clock struck zero, but it was the Wolfpack who went home victorious after a hard-fought Saturday night battle.
Late in the second quarter, after a missed Nevada field goal, the Trojans offense struck again. This time around it was Gerald Green finding the endzone. Green broke loose for a 16-yard touchdown to give Troy a 14-0 lead. Nevada kept the momentum going when they took the field at the start of the second half. Savion Red exploded for a 69-yard run, and two plays later, Patrick Garwo III punched it in from the one-yard line to tie the game up at 14.
The explosion of offense continued in the third quarter when the Wolfpack offense hit the field again. Garwo III found some space and made the Trojan defense pay when he rumbled 22 yards into the endzone, giving the Wolfpack their first lead of the night.
