U.S. Secret Service uniformed division police officers carry a young child who crawled through the White House fence Tuesday in Washington. WASHINGTON, D.C. — A young child managed to cause a small alarm Tuesday by getting through the gaps of the metal fence surrounding the White House.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement that officers “encountered a curious young visitor along the White House north fence line who briefly entered White House grounds.” The child’s visit short: Uniformed agents with the Secret Service quickly scooped up the child, the Associated Press reports.

The statement says the child was “quickly reunited” with his parents, although they did have to answers some questions,According to CNN, a toddler got through the fencing in 2014, which prompted a temporary lockdown and delayed a briefing by President Barack Obama.
