In a TikTok post, Hope Walz joked about canceling out the vote of her dad, Democratic VP nominee Tim Walz.
Tim Walz 's daughter Hope doesn’t need to worry about canceling out her dad’s vote. After all, the 23-year-old social worker’s father is the Democratic VP nominee. “My dad is literally running for Vice President to protect the rights of women and girls, tackle climate change, lower costs for families, and make Kamala Harris the next President of the United States,” Walz said in a Tuesday post on Kamala HQ’s TikTok, alongside a photo of her as a baby sitting on her dad’s shoulders.
In some of the videos, boyfriends and girlfriends or family members film themselves walking to the polls together. Election Day is less than a week away, and early voting is underway in many states. Polls show a super close race between Harris and Donald Trump. Harris has a major advantage with the youth vote, leading Trump by more than 31% in a recent Harvard Institute of Politics Youth Poll of likely voters aged 18 to 29.
