'I haven’t stopped crying': Tiktok users share their ofrendas for Día de los Muertos
“I just wanted to get on TikTok and watch some funny videos after work,” says user @hello.itschelsea, who was instead greeting by heartbreaking videos of people paying tribute to lost family pets on their ofrendas.“I need to log off, I haven’t stopped crying,” another user replied.
In addition to altars dedicated to pets, user @hanny___4’s large ofrenda containing contributions from her first-grade students also has gone viral.
