Throggs Neck creep tried to lure teen girl off street into box truck: cops via bronxtimes
The NYPD released video footage Thursday night of the truck that the perpetrator drove during the luring attempt that occurred at about 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the area of Hollywood Avenue near Milton Place.
According to law enforcement sources, the young girl was walking through the area when the pervert — described by police as a man in his 30s — pulled up in the large white box truck and began making gestures at her. He also shouted comments to her while attempting to get her to come inside the truck.
The frightened girl then ran off, and the driver drove away in the box truck in an unknown direction.The footage shows the truck pulling up to the location. Police said the vehicle had unknown lettering on the driver side door. Anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect’s whereabouts can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS .
