Three teens accused of opening fire on a home in Cleveland’s Slavic Village and fatally shooting a woman are now facing murder charges, and they will be prosecuted as adults.
Three teens accused of opening fire on a home in Cleveland’s Slavic Village and fatally shooting a woman will be prosecuted as adults.The boys were 14 and 15 years old at the time of the slaying.A man in the home was also grazed, a spokeswoman from the prosecutor’s office said. Others in the home at the time were not injured.
Court records identify the teens as Tremayne Davis, 17, and Qumaurie Conner and Carvell Ayers-Moore, both 15. The three are from Garfield Heights. The three youths are also charged with improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. Moore is also facing two charges of not stopping for a police officer.
Prosecutors said last December that surveillance video captured four teenagers getting out of a car and opening fire on Todd‘s home from the street. It is unclear why Todd’s home was targeted.
