The suspects were armed and took the victims, a 72-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, by gunpoint and drove them to an Airbnb in DeSoto, police said. Police said the victims were eventually able to loosen their restraints and subdue the remaining suspect after retrieving a knife from the home’s kitchen. Then, the victims fled from the home and ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911.
