Are you ready for a weekly blast from the Seahawks teams of the past?
This will be a weekly article series throughout the season looking back on what happened for the Seattle Seahawks 40, 30, 20, and 10 years ago this week. Because of the way the schedule worked out, just two games to look at again this week, including a SBXLVIII rematch. Game Log Seattle headed to Detroit to take on the Lions for their 3rd preseason game of the 1984 season.
Game Log Ah yes, the Super Bowl XLVIII rematch…Denver sure wished this was the outcome for the one that counted! The Broncos scored first near the end of the 1st Quarter on a 1-yard TD run by Ronnie Hillman to take the 7-0 lead. The Seahawks answered right back with a 1-yard TD run of their own from Christine Michael to knot the game up at 7-7. After Denver’s Matt Prater missed a 54-yard FG, Seattle’s Steven Hauschka was true from 41 yards to put the Seahawks ahead 10-7 at halftime.
