We’re officially less than four months away from the premiere of Andor Season 2, and one of the stars of the film that spawned the franchise just gave a delightfully optimistic update on her return to the franchise. Felicity Jones, who plays the lead role of Jyn Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the movie that introduced Cassian Andor , recently talked about a potential role reprisal.
Cassian Andor meets Jyn Erso in Rogue One; the two didn’t have a preexisting relationship before the movie, so a recurring role in Andor Season 2 that sees her work with Cassian is easy to rule out. However, the show can take the spotlight off of Cassian and his work with the budding rebellion and shine it on Jones’ Erso for a scene or two, just to give a gift to Rogue One fans who miss the character.
It’s unknown if Felicity Jones will reprise her role as Jyn Erso in Andor Season 2 or another Star Wars project. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates and watch Rogue One on Disney+.
