I've been devoted to the classic spray formulation, but this BestofBeauty Breakthrough winner might be my new object of affection.
When my bangs are oily, they get piece-y and split down the middle. I use dry shampoo almost every day to refresh them and add some grit, so they stay fluffy and cover my forehead — exactly how I like them. To work the R+Co product into my bangs, I added a drop onto my fingertips and then rubbed them together across the strands of hair until they were fully coated.
Commerce editor Sarah Han has a love-hate relationship with dry shampoos — as in, she loves the idea of them but hates them in practice. "Contrary to what they're supposed to do, most dry shampoos leave my roots looking greasy and limp within a few hours, so I glumly resort to giving my hair a proper wash." It's different with R+Co Bleu, though.
This product isn't all immediate gratification, either. The oil absorption lasts all day and doesn't give you that "product helmet" feeling that powder products sometimes leave around the scalp. I've found myself reaching for this whenever I need a kick of volume or softness — even when I'm freshly showered and my hair is squeaky clean.
