Marc Spector may be Khonshu’s favorite and most skilled Moon Knight, but he certainly is not Khonshu’s first. Readers have gotten brief glimpses of Marc’s predecessor before, but in the Fist of Vengeance’s newest series, multiple never-before-seen Moon Knights have been revealed. Every Moon Knight has their own distinct flair, something seen in Marc and his alters’ own designs, but these newly revealed Moon Knights are something else entirely.
Close Issue #1 introduces a powerfully large devotee to the God of Vengeance, a holy crusader forged in the heat of the Old Crusades. The series' second issue, meanwhile, introduces readers to a new Moon Knight that may be a more familiar figure than most would expect. However, that’s not to say that Moon Knight’s suits don’t change to fit the wielder; as seen with Cassian, a Moon Knight’s costume is reflective of their key character traits.
