There was a pretty big plot hole in the Game Of Thrones Season 8 premiere.

, I called it a return to form after a lackluster seventh season. It was largely a character-driven episode, and mostly focused on reunions between characters who haven't seen each other in a while, including the very awkward moment at the end when Jaime Lannister shows up and the first person he sees in Bran Stark.

That's when she casually tells him to hop on one of her dragons to go for a ride and he just hops right up and flies away. Once Daenerys realized Jon could fly the dragon without consequences, she should have realized he was more than just a Stark. She should have realized right then and there that he was a Targaryen. Instead, she treated the whole thing like it was no big deal.

Jon rides on Rhaegal because it's named after his father. Dany rides on Drogon because, well, she was riding Khal Drogo before the eggs hatched. And the Night King rides Viserion because Viserys, Dany's other brother, was such a horrible person. It only makes sense for his dragon to break bad.Prior to last season, the most popular fan theory was that Tyrion would ride the third dragon.
