The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program provided $55,000 in funding to purchase the vehicle.In a statement, the Village of North Hornell and the North Hornell Police Department expressed their gratitude for the grant funds and stated they will continue to search for and execute future grant opportunities to assist with community needs and taxpayer savings.
