Britain's new Prime Minister is keeping the Queen from her favorite vacation spot
After a busy summer of official engagements the Queen is surely ready for her annual vacation, but the 92-year-old monarch has had to delay her holiday to Scotland so that she can meet Britain’s new Prime Minister.
The Queen was scheduled to travel to Aberdeenshire thisweekend but decided to delay the 500-mile trip, and courtiers say she is likely to leave for Balmoral at the end of this week. According to her granddaughter Princess Eugenie it is where the monarch is ‘’happiest.” In a recent television documentary Eugenie revealed, "It's the most beautiful place on earth. I think Granny is the happiest there. Walks, picnics, dogs, a lot of dogs — there's always dogs and people coming in and out all the time.
“Sarah wasn’t invited for years after she and Prince Andrew separated but she’s back on the invited list,” reveals a source. “She has gone the last couple of years, but she’s not there when the Duke is in residence.”
