The beginning of Jon Bernthal's MCU journey as the Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again could set in motion the ending of another character's story.
Jon Bernthal's return as The Punisher in the MCU could eventually see him replace one armored Avenger. Bernthal debuted as Frank Castle a.k.a. the Punisher, in Netflix's Daredevil season 2 opposite Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock. But while Netflix's shows had an ambiguous place in MCU canon, the same won't be the case for his next appearance, which will come in the Phase 5 Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.

Since 2008's Iron Man, many MCU characters have suited-up in Iron Man-like armor, and this number has only increased in recent years. The likes of Rhodey, Pepper Potts, and Riri Williams have all sported armor made from Stark technology, which is a storyline that Marvel Studios is set to continue in their Armor Wars film.
