‘The King of Queens’ cast reunited to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary and paid tribute to late costar Jerry Stiller after his death in 2020
Actress Leah Remini and actors Kevin James and Jerry Stiller attend the 'King of Queens' party celebrating the show's 200th episode at Sony Studios on January 25, 2007 in Culver City, California.
James, 58, who starred as Doug Heffernan, said about Stiller, “I miss him so much. … He was an angel. He was a great man.' 'Jerry knew that most people who came to the show wanted to meet him,” she recalled. “They'd get our picture and sign the script and they'd be like, 'Is Jerry here? Is Jerry here?' Because he talked to everybody.'
The King of Queens ran on CBS from September 1998 to May 2007, producing a total of nine seasons and 207 episodes. Romano, 65, who sometimes appeared on The King of Queens as his Everybody Loves Raymond character, Raymond Barone, reflected on his first day with Jerry on the set.
