Doom-mite and the Justice League DC Featured
Summary Warning! Spoilers ahead for Batman/Superman: World's Finest #29!One of the most powerful enemies the Justice League has ever faced is still around just waiting to come back. A story set in the past sees the heroes of the DC Universe fight an impossibly powerful threat from the Sixth Dimension. Though the day is saved, the threat it presents is still lurking.
In Batman/Superman: World's Finest #29 by Mark Waid and Dan Mora, the Sixth-Dimensional threat Doom-Mite has all but won. However, Bat-Mite and Mxyzptlk travel across the DC Universe and return with every magic hero to save the day. Every magic hero, as well as the imps, Superman, Batman, and Robin, begin pulling time energy directly from Doom-Mite's body.
Bat-Mite stops Doom-Mite from getting a second wind and the heroes successfully remove the Sixth-Dimensional being's godlike powers. With Doom-Mite no longer a threat, Doctor Fate takes the villain away, promising to find a prison powerful enough to hold him.The powerful being known as Doom-Mite traveled to the Fifth Dimension, where he destroyed the Just-Us League's base before following Bat-Mite and Mxyzptlk to Earth.
What's interesting is that Batman/Superman: World's Finest is a series that takes place in the past, meaning that Doom-Mite was defeated some time ago. Yet he's never been a threat since his first attack on the DC Universe. This isn't unlike how things went down with the Devil Nezha in the series' first arc, who was similarly locked away at the conclusion. However, Nezha eventually escaped and imperiled the world in Batman vs. Robin.
