The Hurry-Up: Ohio State offered twin brother offensive linemen Deontae and Devontae Armstrong along with two other prospects Friday.
Twin Brothers Deontae and Devontae Armstrong Share Interest in Ohio State As They Go Through Recruiting Process Together
Deontae and Devontae have both visited OSU numerous times for a combination of spring practices, gameday visits and recruiting camps. The pair worked out at a camp together this summer and later attended OSU’s regular-season finale against Michigan. Both consider the Buckeyes to be the team they grew up rooting for.
“Just watching Ohio State just all our life, actually meeting the coaches and establishing a relationship with the coaches is just surreal to me,” Devontae Armstrong said in June. While the recruitments of both prospects have been eerily similar thus far, the twins aren’t considered a package deal by any means, though they’d enjoy it if they play together at the next level.
