The Hurry-Up: Ohio State offers four-star 2024 Ohio CB Terhyon Nichols and five-star 2025 WR Andrew Marsh and UAB safety transfer Jaylen Key is no longer considering the Buckeyes.
Marsh is considered the 28th-best prospect and the fifth-ranked wideout in the 2025 class and has picked up nearly 30 Division I offers thus far, including Arizona, Auburn, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Houston, Kansas, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Syracuse, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and USC.
Ohio State has monitored the 6-foot-1, 173-pound prospect since last fall, and he attended the Buckeyes' win over Indiana at Ohio Stadium in November.after his visit. “During the conversation, both asked if I could see myself playing there and if I could stand playing in the cold. All of the recruiting team was nice. I had a more in-depth time there. I was able to see the football facility and meet with different departments. The place is huge. I see that everything is up-tempo.
In his sophomore season, Marsh played in nine games, catching 53 passes for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns while also returning kickoffs occasionally.Ohio State got good news on Tuesday regarding its top remaining transfer target. On the last weekend of April, Ohio State hosted three transfer prospects on campus for official visits in cornerback Lorenzo Styles, offensive tackle Josh Simmons and defensive tackle Tywone Malone. The Buckeyes landed commitments from Simmons and Styles that weekend and made it three-for-three a week-and-a-half later as MaloneHowever, Ohio State won’t land every transfer it’s pursued over the past couple of weeks.
