Observations from Wednesday's Browns-Vikings joint practices, including David Njoku and Deshaun Watson.
BEREA, Ohio — This isn’t much of a space for fantasy football advice, but you might want to put a big circle aroundtight end David Njoku’s name, especially if you’re in a league where you get points for every reception.
Here’s the catch: Njoku had just 26 targets with Watson at quarterback, which projects over the 16 games he played to 83 targets. He was a frequent target of Joe Flacco, who threw his way 45 times in five games, which projects out to 153 targets over a full season.

Not allowed to film team periods but two really good snaps for rookie CB Myles Harden. He has a breakup on a ball thrown by Nick Mullens and very next play had a pick-six on a pass intended for N’Keal Harry. Whole* The protection up front was not great. There were multiple would-be sacks on Watson, including a likely one on a deep throw to Amari Cooper and another completion to Cedric Tillman. There were also plays where Watson couldn’t even finish with a throw.
