Airfare has gone up in the last few years, so we are showing you step-by-step how to still get a deal when flying out of our area.
"Airfares are relatively in line from where they were last year. That doesn't mean they are a lot cheaper. They are still up about 20% over the last four years," says consumer expert Caleb Silver."If you are thinking about flying out from any the NYC airports, prepare to pay about $350- $450 roundtrip anywhere in the United States. If you are flying with your family of 3 or 4 people, prepare to quadruple that if you have to," Silver adds.
Be sure to check your accumulated points for an account or your chosen credit card to cash in. Using some of those points can help eat the cost of a ticket.
