The footballer gave insightful and inspirational advice to the Camstradden Primary kids as part of the inaugural ‘Week of Football’.
The SFA-credited programme is designed to support teaching and learning through the context of football, which is used by pupils and schools across Scotland.
The presence of the superstar at their school created a buzz amongst the children as they got pictured alongside the goalkeeper. “There will be hard times and there will be times that you feel that you aren’t good enough but just know that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.Acting headteacher Laura Davidson was delighted with the appearance of the Scotland star as she said that the school had a “buzz” about it all day and said they felt lucky to have Gordon visit them.
