, and will release with a massive 33 characters, heroes and villains from across the Marvel universe slotted into various hero shooter roles.
Like most games, however, leaks are already beginning to spring up, and as a result, we have information on a number of heroes that are going to be added in the future. The result of a lotSo, that’s the entire Fantastic Four, where I wonder if that is meant to be aligned with the release of the 2025 film, which would track, timeline-wise.
They join the existing roster of 33 characters, and we do not know exactly the schedule for how many new characters we be doled out, and when. But as a reminder, here are the 33 launch heroes:The most prevalent characters here are Avengers, with essentially all the main roles from the films filled here. At the last minute, Marvel Rivals revealed that other big names like Black Widow and Wolverine would in fact join the launch roster.
It's just a massive collection of Marvel icons, and it felt like this game could have launched with far fewer than it is, part of Marvel Rivals seemingly like it’s already surpassing expectations in almost every way.
