As a result, episode #17 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 will debut on August 2, 2024, at 8:30 AM PT/11:30 AM ET. Due to the episode releasing in close proximity to its Japanese airtime, the episode will initially be available only in Japanese with subtitles.
In the present day, the Tengu delegation arrives for their audience with Rimuru, led by Momiji. Momiji is distrustful of Rimuru, even as he insists he has no intention of taking their territory, but they soon figure out that it's due to past conflict with the former demon lord Frey that they are so suspicious. Once it's made clear that Rimuru has no intention of allowing Frey to harm the Tengu, Momiji is able to relax a bit and open up for friendlier relations.
Based on chapter 107 of the manga, fans can expect a detailed look into how Masayuki first arrived in this world, and all the powers that he, like Rimuru, was granted upon entering it. Masayuki also seems to have an existing relationship with Yuuki Kagurazaka, a fellow otherworlder and leader of the Free Guild.
