Texas finished 29-9 last season, the third-most wins in program history. The Longhorns routed Kansas to claim the program’s second Big 12 tournament title and advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in 15 years, ultimately falling to fifth-seeded Miami in the Midwest Region final. UConn on Monday overpowered San Diego State to claim the program’s fifth national title, all of which have come since the 1998-99 season. The Huskies finished 31-8 under fifth-year coach Dan Hurley.
