A new survey by education resource website Twinkl found Texas teachers work more hours than those in other states.

Texas teachers are the most overworked in the nation, according to a new study advocating for balanced workloads and higher pay in education. Twinkl , a platform that provides K-12 teaching resources to educators, surveyed 2,400 people across the country to find out how much they believe teachers should earn annually and how many hours they should work per week. The website then compared the results to statewide data from the National Center for Education Statistics.
