' BACKGROUND: Texas sues Facebook parent company over use of facial recognition technology 'Any abuse of Texans’ sensitive data will be met with the full force of the law,” Paxton said in a statement touting the settlement. Meta did not admit to any wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
