Texas will return its entire starting offensive line, a group headlined by freshman All-American left tackle Kelvin Banks.
Today: Christian Jones, sixth-year senior; Hayden Conner, junior; Jake Majors, junior; DJ Campbell, sophomore; Kelvin Banks Jr., sophomore; Cole Hutson, sophomore; Cameron Williams, sophomore; Sawyer Goram-Welch, junior; Connor Robertson, redshirt freshman; Malik Agbo, redshirt freshman; Neto Umeozulu, redshirt freshman.
Banks is the standout of the group. A freshman All-American last season, the 6-foot-4 tackle already has NFL scouts salivating over the though of drafting him in the first round of a future NFL draft. Banks allowed just two sacks and one quarterback hit across 456 passing snaps and finished with the fourth-best pass-blocking grade among Big 12 tackles, per data from Pro Football Focus.
Hutson, Connor and Majors have room to improve, especially from a run-blocking perspective, but they’re still relatively young for offensive linemen and will benefit from the group’s continuity.Sophomore DJ Campbell was the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in the nation in 2022 but has just 129 offensive snaps under his belt and is currently recovering from wrist surgery that cut his spring training camp short.
