A new study by Eilers & Krejcik predicts that legalizing sports betting in Texas could generate over $360 million in direct tax revenue and create more than 8,000 jobs. The research estimates an annual economic output of over $2.6 billion and non-gaming tax revenues of $24.3 million per year.
