Dozens of teens were injured, including five flown to the hospital in a helicopter, after a ramp collapsed in a beachside town in Texas.
The victims' ages ranged from 14 to 18.
Sharon Trower, public information officer for Brazoria County, said all the victims were between 14 and 18 years old. The teens were from the Bayou City Fellowship summer camp visiting from Cypress, Tomball, and Spring Branch. Five individuals were life-flighted to Memorial Hermann in Houston, six were taken to hospitals by ambulance, and about 10 more were taken to hospitals by private vehicles, Trower said.
None of the injuries were expected to be life-threatening. The cause of the walkway collapse was under investigation.
