This is the third murder on a train or at a station in New York City so far this year.
One teen was killed and another was wounded in a Bronx subway station on Monday night.One of the 17-year-olds was shot in the head, arm, and shoulder and did not survive. The other was shot in the hip and is now in serious, but stable condition, authorities said.
Sources say whatever led to the shooting started as a dispute between about five teens on the train before spilling out onto the platform. After nearly a dozen homicides in the subway system last year, there has been more of a police presence. But people heading to work Tuesday morning were left uneasy after learning someone was killed there.
